Making healthcare equally good for everyone, regardless of diagnosis group, is a strong ambition of ours.

About 15 employees from various professions work at the health center. We offer our patients, among other things, regular medical consultations, district nurse consultations, and nursing assistant consultations, as well as clinics for diabetes, dementia, heart failure, asthma/COPD, incontinence care, and lifestyle habits. We are the only health center in Gotland with a medical foot care therapist. We have a psychosocial team where doctors, counselors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation coordinators work together on treatment efforts against mental illness, preventing long-term sick leave, and promoting quick returns to work.

We have also been working in interdisciplinary general medicine teams for the past year, which we find promotes continuity, patient safety, and a holistic view.

As a rural health center, we handle many acute visits regarding, among other things, chest pain and wound injuries. Your Responsibilities

As a district nurse/nurse at Slite Health Center, your work is varied, and you have close collaboration with all professions at the health center.

You will work with reception duties both individually and in teams, as well as with telephone advice.

Who Are You?

You who are applying are a licensed nurse. We consider it an advantage if you have specialist training as a district nurse or training in diabetes care, dementia, incontinence care, asthma/COPD, spirometry, heart failure, lifestyle habits, and/or telephone advice.

We value experience from previous work at a health center, as well as experience in diabetes care, dementia, incontinence care, asthma/COPD, spirometry, heart failure, lifestyle habits, or telephone advice.

You who are applying are innovative, service-oriented, and communicative. You are used to working in teams but also independently. Furthermore, we believe that you are confident in your professional role, positive towards new challenges, and have a strong commitment.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
